Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or freshly cooked)
- 6 slices crispy bacon, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing or ranch seasoning
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter for cooking
- Optional toppings: chopped green onions, sour cream, salsa
Instructions
- Ensure your cooked chicken is shredded and bacon slices are crispy. Prepare toppings or additional ingredients as needed.
- In a bowl, combine shredded chicken with ranch dressing or ranch seasoning. Stir in chopped bacon and cheese to create the filling.
- Lay a tortilla flat on a plate. Spread a portion of the chicken-bacon mixture evenly over half of the tortilla. Fold the tortilla in half to enclose the filling.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or butter. Place the prepared quesadilla in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese melts. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Notes
- Use a non-stick skillet or a quality nonstick cookware set to prevent sticking and promote crispy results.
- Press down gently with a spatula while cooking to help keep the quesadilla together.
- Add toppings like chopped green onions or sour cream for extra flavor.
