Instructions
- Heat the milk in a saucepan until just boiling, then reduce to a simmer.
- Add the black tea leaves or tea bag, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon to the milk.
- Steep for 5 minutes, then strain the tea leaves if using loose leaves.
- Sweeten with honey or sugar if desired, stirring well.
- Pour into cups, garnish with cinnamon sticks or a sprinkle of cinnamon, and serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness according to your preference.
- For a creamy texture, add a dollop of whipped cream on top.
- You can also infuse with a pinch of nutmeg for extra warmth.
