A hearty, creamy baked chicken stroganoff that combines tender chicken, mushrooms, and a rich sauce, baked until bubbly and golden.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions, garlic, and mushrooms until soft.
  4. Stir in paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Mix in sour cream until smooth.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, add chicken on top, and bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and cooked through.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
