- 12 oz of your favorite pasta (penne, rotini, or fettuccine)
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional garnish: chopped parsley or green onions
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook bacon until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add cooked chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes. Mix in bacon crumbles.
- Reduce heat to low. Stir in ranch dressing, milk or heavy cream, and shredded cheddar cheese. Continue stirring until cheese melts and sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add cooked pasta into the skillet. Toss to coat evenly with the sauce. Finish with grated Parmesan and herbs if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
- Use fresh ingredients for optimal flavor.
- Cook pasta al dente to prevent it from becoming too soft.
- Adjust ranch dressing and cheese quantities to taste.
- For a richer sauce, stir in a splash of cream or cream cheese.
- Experiment with pasta shapes or add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for variation.
