Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti noodles
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream or milk
- 1 cup (120 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups (340 g) cooked chicken or ground beef (optional)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- SALT & PEPPER to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, sauté diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant. Add the softened cream cheese and stir until melted.
- Gradually pour in heavy cream or milk, stirring constantly until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, then fold in shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese. Add cooked chicken or ground beef if desired, mixing well.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle extra cheese on top if preferred.
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until bubbling and golden brown. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use softened room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing.
- For a healthier version, substitute whole milk with skim or plant-based milk.
- Make it vegetarian by omitting meat or adding vegetables like bell peppers, zucchini, or spinach.
- Serve with garlic bread or a fresh side salad for a complete meal.
