Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken until golden on both sides and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, scraping up browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Add parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet, coat with sauce, and simmer for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
