  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add baked meatballs and cook for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned.
  5. Add marinara sauce and heavy cream; simmer for 10 minutes until sauce thickens and meatballs are coated evenly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • You can make the meatballs ahead and refrigerate before baking.
