- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and browned.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add baked meatballs and cook for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned.
- Add marinara sauce and heavy cream; simmer for 10 minutes until sauce thickens and meatballs are coated evenly.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- You can make the meatballs ahead and refrigerate before baking.
- Serve over spaghetti, polenta, or enjoy as-is with crusty bread.
