Creamy seafood stuffed shells are a rich and savory dish featuring large pasta shells filled with a flavorful seafood mixture, baked with cheese and herbs for a perfect comfort meal.

  • 20 large pasta shells
  • 1 pound mixed seafood (shrimp, crab, scallops)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add seafood and cook until just tender. Remove from heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, heavy cream, cooked seafood, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Stuff each shell with the seafood mixture and place in a baking dish.
  5. Pour remaining cream mixture over the shells. Top with additional mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
