Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- ½ cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free alternative
- ½ cup water or plant-based milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Optional: chopped green onions or fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth to make the batter.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it’s well-coated, then place on a prepared baking sheet or plate.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange coated cauliflower in the basket, avoiding overcrowding.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Transfer cooked cauliflower to a large bowl, toss with buffalo sauce until evenly coated. Warm the sauce slightly if desired.
- Serve immediately with dipping sauces and garnish with green onions or parsley.
Notes
- Ensure cauliflower pieces are evenly coated for maximum crispiness.
- Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for even cooking.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model and cauliflower size.
- For a milder flavor, reduce buffalo sauce or mix it with honey or ranch dressing.
