Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare brownie mix as per package instructions and spread evenly in a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 20 minutes and let cool.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add sour cream and vanilla extract, mix until combined. Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled brownie base.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the center is set. Cool completely in the pan.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the cooled cheesecake, top with chocolate shavings, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
