- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 12 ounces fettuccine or your favorite pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil and parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, bring to simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper.
- Return cooked chicken to the skillet and stir until coated and heated through.
- Combine with cooked pasta, toss well, and serve garnished with fresh herbs.
