Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and vanilla. Add to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in diced apples.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening slightly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- While baking, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over warm fritters and dust with powdered sugar. Serve immediately.
