  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Set up a breading station: place flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned bread crumbs in separate shallow dishes.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in flour, then egg, then bread crumbs mixed with Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place breaded chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
