- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease donut pans.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix pumpkin, milk, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Spoon batter into donut molds, filling about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow donuts to cool before glazing or serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add a pinch more cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavor.
- Glaze with cream cheese frosting or a simple powdered sugar glaze.
