- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter, for toasting
Instructions
- Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on four slices of bread.
- Layer shredded chicken, avocado slices, and shredded cheese on two slices.
- Top with remaining bread slices and press gently.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Grill the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese melts.
- Slice and serve hot with your favorite sides.

- You can substitute cooked chicken with turkey or ham for variation.
- Add bacon or tomato slices for extra flavor.
