- 1 sheet of puff pastry or pizza dough
- 1 cup cooked chicken, sliced thin
- 4 slices of ham or cooked bacon
- 1 cup shredded Swiss or Mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Layer the chicken slices evenly over the dough, then top with ham and shredded cheese.
- Roll up the dough tightly, tucking in the edges, to form a log shape.
- Brush the outside with beaten egg and cut a few small slits on top for steam vents.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, slice, and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
- Use cooked, sliced chicken for best flavor.
- You can substitute ham with cooked bacon or prosciutto.
- Serve with a side salad or marinara sauce for dipping.
