- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup corn syrup
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl. Press into a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
- Bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in chopped pecans and pour over the baked crust.
- Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until filling is set.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure to evenly spread the pecan mixture for uniform bars.
- refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing for cleaner cuts.
