- 3 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1.5 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches, raspberries, and half of the sugar. Toss to coat and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add cold butter to the dry ingredients and cut in with a pastry cutter until crumbly.
- Pour in milk and stir just until combined.
- Transfer fruit mixture to a baking dish and spread batter evenly over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
Best served warm. For variation, add a sprinkle of cinnamon or a splash of vanilla to the batter.
