- 4 large zucchinis, sliced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Layer zucchini slices in the baking dish, then spread marinara sauce over each layer.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top. Repeat layers as needed.
- Sprinkle Italian herbs over the top and bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil slices before serving.

- You can add pepperoni or cooked sausage for extra protein.
- Use fresh basil for the best flavor garnish.
