- 1 lb boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cubed
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce or pureed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in garlic and ginger, cook for another minute.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until browned.
- Pour in tomato sauce, spices, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken with tofu for a vegetarian version.
- Adjust chili powder for spiciness preference.
- Serve with fresh salad for a complete meal.
