- 1 (32 oz) package frozen tater tots
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onion until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup with milk.
- In a baking dish, layer cooked meat, soup mixture, and half of the shredded cheese.
- Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese over the tots.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley before serving.

- Use homemade or store-bought cream of mushroom soup for best flavor.
- Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for beef.
