- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey or brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Pour over chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until chicken is tender.
- Optional: Remove chicken and set aside. Pour liquid into a saucepan, bring to a boil, and whisk in cornstarch to thicken. Return chicken to sauce if desired.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

- Adjust sweetness with more or less honey or sugar.
- Use fresh ginger and garlic for vibrant flavor.
- Great served over steamed rice or vegetables.
