- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 8 small flour tortillas or flatbreads
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- ½ cup diced tomatoes
- ¼ cup sliced jalapenos
- 1/4 cup chopped red onions
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a large sheet pan with olive oil.
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then add taco seasoning and a little water, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Layer tortillas on the sheet pan, spreading beef evenly over each.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef and tortillas.
- Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are crispy.
- Remove from oven and top with lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, and red onions.
- Serve immediately with your favorite salsa or sour cream.
Notes
- Feel free to customize toppings with olives, sour cream, or avocado.
- For a vegetarian version, replace beef with seasoned black beans or grilled vegetables.
