- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, cold
- 3 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Sea salt flakes for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix flour and brown sugar in a bowl. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Press evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish.
- Bake the crust for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
- In a bowl, toss diced apples with cinnamon, salt, and half of the caramel sauce.
- Spread apple mixture evenly over the baked crust.
- Drizzle remaining caramel sauce over the apples.
- Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until bubbling and golden.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with sea salt flakes. Cool before slicing.
