- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or almonds)
- Sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a heavy saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add brown sugar, corn syrup, and stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Continue boiling without stirring for 5-7 minutes until it reaches the soft crack stage.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and chopped nuts.
- Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle with sea salt while still warm.
- Let cool completely at room temperature before breaking into pieces.

- For a smoother texture, use finely chopped nuts.
