Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh green peas
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the peas for 2-3 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the cooked peas to the skillet, stirring to coat in the butter and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Garnish with freshly chopped thyme or parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice or sprinkle with red pepper flakes for a little heat.
