Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture and melted butter.
- Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, about 8-10 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a ball and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Mix minced garlic with a tablespoon of melted butter. Brush over the rolls.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with remaining melted butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the milk is warm but not hot to activate the yeast properly.
- For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
- Serve warm with additional butter if desired.
