Instructions
- Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Reduce heat to low, add butter and minced garlic to the pan.
- Swirl the pan to melt the butter and cook with garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Baste the pork chops with garlic butter sauce and cook an additional minute.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with lemon wedges if desired.

- Use an instant-read thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) for perfectly cooked pork.
