Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 pounds chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, grated Parmesan, Italian herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
- Add chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring even coating. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat or set your oven to 400°F (200°C). For indoor cooking, prepare a grill pan.
- Thread marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving space between pieces for even cooking.
- Grill each side for 4-5 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), or bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, turning once halfway through.
- Transfer cooked skewers to a serving platter, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot with sides like grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- For an extra cheesy touch, sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese before serving.
- Cook in batches for large gatherings to ensure each skewer is served hot and flavorful.
