Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant. Add ground turkey, cook until browned, season with paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a baking dish, layer sweet potato cubes, then spread cooked turkey mixture evenly over the top.
