- 4 slices crispy bacon, chopped
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced pickles
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: sliced tomatoes, additional pickles, fresh lettuce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare the ingredients by chopping bacon, dicing onions, and slicing optional toppings.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; cook until onions are translucent. Stir in chopped bacon and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix heavy cream with tomato paste; season with salt and pepper. Stir this mixture into the beef and bacon. Add grated cheddar cheese and combine until melted and creamy.
- Transfer the mixture into a baking dish, spreading evenly. Top with additional cheese if desired. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Remove from oven, garnish with sliced pickles, tomatoes, or fresh lettuce. Serve hot with side salads or roasted vegetables.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute other cheeses like mozzarella or pepper jack for variety.
- Use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter alternative.
- Adding sliced jalapeños provides a spicy kick.
- Cauliflower rice can be used instead of traditional rice for extra keto-friendliness.
