Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until translucent.
- Stir in turmeric and cumin; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth, carrots, and celery; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in shredded chicken and lemon juice; season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, top with fresh cilantro or parsley. Adjust turmeric and spices according to taste.
