Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sauté onions and peppers until tender, season with salt and pepper.
- Add beef slices, cook until browned and cooked through.
- Slice baguette into 8 pieces, toast lightly if desired.
- Place beef mixture on each bread slice, top with shredded cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) until cheese melts and bread is crispy, about 10 minutes.
- Serve hot garnished with fresh herbs.
