Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until a dough forms.
- Let the dough cool slightly, then beat in the egg and vanilla until smooth.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Spoon the dough into a piping bag with a star tip or shape into small ropes.
- Pipe or shape small bites onto a parchment-lined tray.
- Place in the air fryer and cook for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Toss the warm churro bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve warm with chocolate sauce or your favorite topping.
