Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup watermelon, cubed
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1 cup grapes, halved
- 1 kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
- juice of 1 lemon or lime
- 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Begin by washing all your fruits thoroughly under cold water. Slice the strawberries, peel and slice the kiwifruit, and cut the watermelon, pineapple, and grapes as directed.
- In a large mixing bowl, gently combine all the prepared fruits. Toss them softly to keep their shape.
- Squeeze the juice of a lemon or lime evenly over the fruit mixture to enhance flavors. Drizzle honey or agave syrup if desired, and gently stir to combine.
- Transfer the fruit salad to a chilled serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld. Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving for added freshness.
Notes
- Use fresh, seasonal fruits for the best flavor and nutrition.
- Prepare the salad a few hours ahead for maximum convenience, adding citrus juice just before serving to prevent browning.
- Avoid over-mixing to prevent bruising fruits.
- Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoyed within 24 hours.
