  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken thighs and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  2. Mix soy sauce and honey in a bowl. Pour over chicken and cook until caramelized and glossy, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, bring to a simmer, and cook for another 10 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
