- 500g chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken thighs and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Mix soy sauce and honey in a bowl. Pour over chicken and cook until caramelized and glossy, about 5 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, bring to a simmer, and cook for another 10 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Drizzle sesame oil over the dish, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate chicken in soy sauce and honey for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Adjust sweetness by increasing or decreasing honey.
