- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces lo mein or spaghetti noodles
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 scallions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger, cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet, toss to combine and coat with sauce.
- Garnish with chopped scallions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.

- You can substitute ground chicken or turkey for the beef for a lighter version.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli for extra nutrition.
