- 1 lb (450g) cooked pulled beef
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in olive oil until translucent.
- Mix the cooked pulled beef with the sautéed onions and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cut the puff pastry sheet into squares (about 3×3 inches).
- Place a spoonful of beef mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the corners to form a puff and seal edges with beaten egg.
- Brush the top of each puff with more beaten egg for a glossy finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
