- 1 cup sour cream

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Wash and thinly slice the potatoes into rounds. Toss them with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper. Spread them evenly in a greased baking dish.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the smoked sausage slices and cook until browned and slightly crispy. Remove from heat.
- In a bowl, combine ranch seasoning mix, sour cream, and remaining olive oil. Stir thoroughly until smooth.
- Layer the sliced potatoes in the baking dish. Top with cooked smoked sausage. Spread the ranch mixture evenly over, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
