Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds of garlic butter beef cubes (sirloin or chuck, cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
- 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of paprika (optional)
- Fresh parsley or chives for garnish
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- Start by cutting your beef into bite-sized pieces. Season lightly with salt and pepper, then set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, paprika, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Place the beef pieces into the slow cooker. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the beef, ensuring each piece is well coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender and cooked through.
- Gently stir the cooked beef to combine. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives for flavor. Serve hot over rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
Notes
- Can use different cuts of beef like stew meat or brisket, adjusting cooking time as needed.
- For gluten-free diets, use gluten-free soy sauce or tamari.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
