Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch or flour for coating
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Fresh vegetables (cucumber, lettuce) for serving

Instructions

  1. Coat chicken pieces with cornstarch or flour evenly.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to make the spicy sauce.
  4. Toss fried chicken in the sauce until well coated.
  5. Arrange chicken in a bowl over fresh vegetables and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less Sriracha.
