- 1 lb boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch or flour for coating
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, sliced for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Fresh vegetables (cucumber, lettuce) for serving
Instructions
- Coat chicken pieces with cornstarch or flour evenly.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to make the spicy sauce.
- Toss fried chicken in the sauce until well coated.
- Arrange chicken in a bowl over fresh vegetables and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less Sriracha.
- Best served immediately for crispy chicken.
