Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Toss chicken strips with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in the skillet, then add chicken. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil, garlic, and sliced bell peppers. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  4. Add orzo pasta to the skillet, stirring to coat with oil and spices. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until orzo is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, cooked chicken, and cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
