Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks (or your preferred cut)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil.
- Season the steaks generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side until a deep golden crust forms.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter, minced garlic, and cook for 2-3 minutes, basting the steaks with the garlic butter.
- Remove steaks and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Ensure the steak is at room temperature before cooking for even searing. Use a cast-iron skillet for best results. Adjust cooking time for desired doneness.
