- 1 (30 oz) bag frozen tater tots
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and diced onion until browned; drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Spread cooked meat mixture evenly in a casserole dish.
- Pour soup mixture over the meat, then layer tater tots on top.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tots.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground chicken or plant-based meat for variety.
- Add cooked bacon or jalapenos for extra flavor.
