Instructions

- In a separate large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until creamy. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
- Meanwhile, heat heavy cream until just simmering. Pour over chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes. Stir until smooth to make ganache.
- Spread ganache over cooled cookies and decorate with heart-shaped sprinkles.
