Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup granola or crispy cereal for crunch
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, pecans, or walnuts)
- 1 cup baby spinach or arugula (optional, for added greens)
- For the champagne vinaigrette:
- 1/4 cup champagne vinegar
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and slice fresh strawberries. Chop nuts and prepare the crunchy cereal or granola. Rinse and dry greens if using.
- In a small bowl, whisk together champagne vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking until emulsified.
- Combine strawberries, greens (if using), nuts, and cereal in a large bowl. Drizzle generously with champagne vinaigrette and toss gently until evenly coated. Top with extra crunch if desired.
Notes
- Store dressing separately and add just before serving to maintain crunch.
- Leftovers should be refrigerated and consumed within 24 hours to prevent sogginess.
- For added flavor, garnish with fresh mint leaves or edible flowers.
