- 1 store-bought or homemade pizza crust
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 fresh lemons, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil and parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Brush the pizza crust with olive oil.
- Spread shredded mozzarella evenly over the crust.
- Arrange lemon slices on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle chopped herbs and lemon zest over the pizza.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven and garnish with additional herbs if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
- You can add a drizzle of honey for a sweet touch.
- Adjust lemon slices for a more or less intense citrus flavor.
