- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and diced onions until browned; drain excess fat.
- Add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, beef mixture, milk, and half of the shredded cheese.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped herbs before serving.
Notes
- For a healthier version, substitute beef with ground turkey or chicken.
- Use cooked brown rice for added fiber and nutrition.
