- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 3 minutes.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the crock pot, add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Cook the pasta separately according to package instructions. Add cooked pasta to the crock pot and stir well.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce or hot sauce.
