Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 3 minutes.
  3. Transfer the beef mixture to the crock pot, add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Cook the pasta separately according to package instructions. Add cooked pasta to the crock pot and stir well.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
